Regularly changing your business email account’s password is a good way to keep your account from being hacked. However, changing the password will prevent Outlook from connecting to your business email account’s server because the program still has the old password. In response, Outlook will prompt you to update the password by displaying a pop-up box. You can stop the pop-ups by entering the new password and changing the program’s settings to remember it.
Change the Login Credentials
Open Outlook's Account Settings utility to access the settings to update your email account password. Open the 'File' menu, click the 'Account Settings' button, and then select “Account Settings.” Select your email account, and then click 'Change' to open the settings to change the account's password.
